Test Solar Chargers-- Nov. 18, 2015

Test solar charger

I'am not a worker who is in workshop. What I should do--answer questions(to customers), deal with orders, place MO. Moreover, testing samples and recording data.

Yesterdays, I test a small solar panel what is customized for charging cellphone. First characteristic is USB outlet, and second is 5V(10 cells in series).

3W5V solar charger for cellphone
It can provide small power, only 3W. Perhaps it is suited to non-smartphone, in other words, a cellphone with small battery, such as classic Nokia, who's battery is only hundreds mAh.

Of course, model 3W5V is not powerful as this one below:

Look, this foldable solar charger is better, I tested it last month, the records like this:

Cellphone: iPhone 6plus (the battery is 2915mAh)
Location: Shenzhen, Guangdong, China.
(Latitude 22.74141°, longitude 113.93525°)
    Time  Percentage
9:13   45%
10:25   75%
10:43   84%
10:54   89%
11:06   94%
From the geographic coordinates, solar radiation is not at peak. (From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. around)
