Different customers have different ideas, such as this one: dual output solar panel. I asked the customer: why? why don't you use 2 panels? The answer is: install it conveniently(Laziness:)). 

This panel is indeed two panels: 12W6V and 6W6V.

This one is 1.7W 9V solar panel. Don't be treated by the photo, the size is just 135*125mm, non-frame. You need a frame, right?

About Efficiency in Photovoltaics Nov. 22, 2015

Efficiency is a figure without unit, usually the figure shows in percentage(%).  Sunlight supplies us radiation intensity of 1000W/㎡， but the solar cell can not change it into electricity 100%. That's an important figure in photovoltaics industry--efficiency of conversion.

We test it in STC: 25℃, radiation intensity 1000W/㎡, and AM1.5.  The equation is:

Efficiency(%)=output power/input power

In other words, if the efficiency of solar cell is 18%, in STC, the solar module can convert 180W power per square meter.

Arranging Solar Panel Samples--Nov. 21, 2015

A mess of samples made a bad view. My boss patrolled to my office and glanced those samples and watched at me few seconds. I got it at once.

Not too many samples, only hundreds....I didn't wanna show them before sorting. So go straight to the result.

Test Solar Chargers-- Nov. 18, 2015

Test solar charger

I'am not a worker who is in workshop. What I should do--answer questions(to customers), deal with orders, place MO. Moreover, testing samples and recording data.

Yesterdays, I test a small solar panel what is customized for charging cellphone. First characteristic is USB outlet, and second is 5V(10 cells in series).

3W5V solar charger for cellphone

It can provide small power, only 3W. Perhaps it is suited to non-smartphone, in other words, a cellphone with small battery, such as classic Nokia, who's battery is only hundreds mAh.

Diary of Daily Work of A Small Solar Panel Manufacturer, Nov. 17, 2015

It's really boring to record daily work. But I wanna know if some people like our products.Even just one expertized comment will make me happy. However, the best comment is "I need xxx, pls quote." So, boring work must be continued, for showing our products.

STC in Solar Panel

Everyone says their photovoltaics products are good, qualified. So we need a standard of testing photovoltaics products. 

Air Mass(AM):  Distance of what the light passing from surface of atmosphere to the ground. At the same place, distance always changes.

Out of atmosphere ,AM is 0; when the AM equals the thickness of atmosphere, AM is 1. AM1 often appears at equator area, between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. So we set AM1.5 as one condition.

At the top of atmosphere, solar irradiance is 1367W/㎡. When the light arrives ground, solar irradiance is about 1000W/㎡. This is one of conditions. 

Temperature is also one of the conditions. Normal temperature is widely used in many areas, so 25℃ is also one condition.

Nov.14, 2015-Samples of Small Solar Panel

I don't think this thing is unusual, but I just started this blog,which needs something new.

After paying sample cost five days, the samples came out last night.The number is only 8, 2 pieces each pattern.You must taunt me: 5 days? You know, customized pattern needs customized materials.It concerns quality of frame, making module, even solar cells. Next time I will post some solar modules which contain monocrystalline silicon cell.
