Different plants supply different solar cells. The differences are size, surface, efficiency and other parameters.

What Kind of Place Would be Better Place for Building Solar Power Station?

In China, I give you a definite answer: Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and Inner Mongolia. 

From one character of solar cell, temperature coefficients(Gintech solar cell): Isc=0.050%/℃, Voc=-0.341%/℃, FF=-0.114%/℃, Power=-0.424%/℃. If you don't know what is filling factor(FF), never mind, but you would concern for the power. Obviously, the higher temperature there (solar power station), the power is lower. On the other hand, the parameters you find on label, is under STCs ( 1000W/㎡, 25℃, AM1.5). So when the temperature of solar module is 75℃, you will get 78.8W from 100W. It would be a fatal reduction to a power station.

Back to my answer. There are same factors in there places: 
1. Longer Peak Sunshine Hours(PSH) than many places. PSH in Qinghai is near 5.5, and in Inner Mongolia is near 6, and in Tibet is about 7. 
2. High radiation intensity. Air mass is less than inland cities.
2. Temperature. These places are plateaus, so the daytime temperature is, even in summer, not more than 20℃.

Of course, in hotter places such as Arabic countries also suitable, for very few rainy days and long sunshine hours.

It's been long time to update my status for showing if I am still alive or not.

Waiting for very tiny solar panels in the past days, I prefer to call them solar nails.The size of these things are around 20-40 mm.

It is not easy to find a suitable solution to promotion. We are manufacture of solar sanels, specifically in manufacturing handmade small solar panel.

OK, I praise my business first here.

Chrysantsolar is a young company but it's not young in manufacturing. Before the company, we are a more than 10-year experienced factory.

These ten years, many solar power industrial factories appeared, but many of them have disappeared. Why?

Bad quality and few profit. Price decides many things: quality and profit. Buyers always lower the target price. For survival, factories have to accept and supply inferior quality merchandise. Of course, if you pay me 1 dollar for buying a Mate 8, I would accept it and send you a picture of Mate 8. :) Of course, suppliers quit this industry for less profit.So, a buyer must know "you get what you pay".

Another simple instance. If the price of our product is USD10, but another competitor quotes USD9.5. Our qualified rate is 99.9%(There are 3 tests from material to product) , which is higher than competitor's 90%. which one you would choose? You know, QC is very hard in handmade area.

Technology. Few technological content in our products, but we can make them good look.

About Efficiency in Photovoltaics Nov. 22, 2015

Efficiency is a figure without unit, usually the figure shows in percentage(%).  Sunlight supplies us radiation intensity of 1000W/㎡， but the solar cell can not change it into electricity 100%. That's an important figure in photovoltaics industry--efficiency of conversion.

We test it in STC: 25℃, radiation intensity 1000W/㎡, and AM1.5.  The equation is:

Efficiency(%)=output power/input power

In other words, if the efficiency of solar cell is 18%, in STC, the solar module can convert 180W power per square meter.

Arranging Solar Panel Samples--Nov. 21, 2015

A mess of samples made a bad view. My boss patrolled to my office and glanced those samples and watched at me few seconds. I got it at once.

Not too many samples, only hundreds....I didn't wanna show them before sorting. So go straight to the result.

Test Solar Chargers-- Nov. 18, 2015

Test solar charger

I'am not a worker who is in workshop. What I should do--answer questions(to customers), deal with orders, place MO. Moreover, testing samples and recording data.

Yesterdays, I test a small solar panel what is customized for charging cellphone. First characteristic is USB outlet, and second is 5V(10 cells in series).

3W5V solar charger for cellphone

It can provide small power, only 3W. Perhaps it is suited to non-smartphone, in other words, a cellphone with small battery, such as classic Nokia, who's battery is only hundreds mAh.

Diary of Daily Work of A Small Solar Panel Manufacturer, Nov. 17, 2015

It's really boring to record daily work. But I wanna know if some people like our products.Even just one expertized comment will make me happy. However, the best comment is "I need xxx, pls quote." So, boring work must be continued, for showing our products.

STC in Solar Panel

Everyone says their photovoltaics products are good, qualified. So we need a standard of testing photovoltaics products. 

Air Mass(AM):  Distance of what the light passing from surface of atmosphere to the ground. At the same place, distance always changes.

Out of atmosphere ,AM is 0; when the AM equals the thickness of atmosphere, AM is 1. AM1 often appears at equator area, between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. So we set AM1.5 as one condition.

At the top of atmosphere, solar irradiance is 1367W/㎡. When the light arrives ground, solar irradiance is about 1000W/㎡. This is one of conditions. 

Temperature is also one of the conditions. Normal temperature is widely used in many areas, so 25℃ is also one condition.

I don't think this thing is unusual, but I just started this blog,which needs something new.

After paying sample cost five days, the samples came out last night.The number is only 8, 2 pieces each pattern.You must taunt me: 5 days?
